Ventspils is an extra-ordinary town in Latvia - very neat and well-kept at the coast of Baltic Sea, situated 290 km from Riga at the NW corner of Latvia. It's perfect place for those who enjoy outdoor and sport activities. The population is about 44,000 and everything can be found in a walking … Dace D.
Very silent city. Not much to do and visit. But if u need great beach - that is a place in summer. Beautifull, big, clean, with nice infrastructure, but see is rather cold. Place is to far for using as a travel base (I've ufortunatelly did it). I can reccomend hostel/guest house: Enturi 13 (or … Bartek G.
