I couldn't quite believe this place at first. The souq in the old medina is unlike any other in the Arabic speaking world. You get NO hassle at all. Wander around, have a chat with some locals, walk into a few shops. It's a thoroughly relaxing experience after places like Egypt and Morocco! Russell S.
