Punta Gorda is the southermost town in Belize, and the capital of the Toledo District.
Blue Creek is a village in the Toledo region of southern Belize, popular for its namesake creek and Rainforest Preserve, as well as Hokeb Ha Cave.
San Antonio is the largest village in the Toledo District of southern Belize. The village was established by Mopan Maya who fled across the Guatemalan border in 1883 from San Luis, Peten, in order to avoid persecution and military service.
The Toledo Settlement, which still appears on some modern maps, usually refers to the area in the Toledo District of southern Belize that was settled by Confederate Settlers fleeing the US after the end of the civil war.
