the town is full of hostile arabs and the lake is security gated and stuffed with hundreds of camping israelies, all round nightmare, there is a nice hot spring in the jordan valley near by though. Chloe T.
If you're camping in Lake Teverya (or Sea of Galilee), make sure to bring along special rubber swimming shoes, because the rocks there can really hurt your feet.
