Thurso Hotels

Thurso is in the Scottish Highlands. Delightful small town on the far north of Scotland. There are lots of shops and nice places to eat in the area. There aren't many places this north of Scotland where you can stop off for provisions so Thurso really is ideal for that.

On the northern tip of Scotland, the ideal place to go skinny dipping in the freezing sea on one of the beautiful and often deserten beaches Fabio D.

Thurso is on the most northern part of mainland Scotland. Famed for it's "Caithness Flags," slabs of local sandstone used for pavements, etc. This is a very small town, but has a couple of nice cheap hotels to stay at if you plan to ferry over to the Orkney Islands. Jeanne G.

Thurso is the northernmost town in Scotland, in the middle of Caithness, Sinclair lands. There is a viscount Sinclair, and lots of Sinclair family history.
