Thessaly Hotels

Thessaly is a region in Central and Northern Greece. In Thessaly the only airport currently operating is Volos airport. Is situated in Nea Anchialos, about 30 km SW from the city of Volos.

Larissa

Meteora

Meteora is one of the gems of Greece. Located near the towns of Kalampaka and Kastraki in northwestern Thessaly it consists of a number of rock pinnacles topped with a total of 24 monasteries.

Trikala

Trikala is a city in Thessaly with a good cafe and nightlife scene. It is an agricultural town that is well placed for those going to Meteora 15 km north or the Pindos Mountains to the west.

Plastira Lake

The famed Lake Plastira lake, the lake for all seasons, is situated in the Thessaly region.

Amaliapolis

Amaliapolis is a beautiful seaside village about 60km south of Volos, on the western side of the Pagasetic Gulf in Greece.

Olympos National Park

Olympos National Park is in Greece and includes Mount Olympus, the highest mountain in Greece, located in the north part of Thessaly.
