Thasos, sometimes spelled Thassos, is a Greek Island tourist destination in the North Aegean Islands group, close to Kavala. One of the most tourism developed islands, Thasos gathers crowds of holidayers, especially for the North Greece, since it is so close, and it is also a place for a quick weekend getaway. Look for accommodation in Mykonos Town, or try finding hotels in Ornos, Tourlos, Tagoo, or Ano Mera.

Mykonos really sucks actually. Overpriced, fake like hell and overcrowded, you will get the real atmosphere if you go in the winter-time. coming down from the boat you can find someone who wants to rent single or double rooms for 20 euro each, it is nice to stay with the local people Alessandra G.

real paradise. houses painted in marine blue are beautiful. good food too except for coffee which to me tastes acrid and strong. restaurants' prices are affordable. hotels are comfortable. beaches are of gravel stones which to me is a real inconvenience. people are very friendly.
