Stratford-upon-Avon Hotels

Stratford-upon-Avon is an historic town on the river Avon in the English county of Warwickshire, best known as the home town of the great English playwright and poet, William Shakespeare. Look for accommodation in Clifford Chambers, or try finding hotels in Wilmcote, 3 miles to the northeast, Warwick, 8 miles to the northwest, Alcester, 7 miles to the east, or Charlecote, 4 miles to the northwest.

The theatre is there of course but the River Avon is quite a sight to see with its various boats parked along the embankment. Lea N.

Whilst visiting Stratford with children, make a point of visiting the Butterfly Farm just over the river from the Theatre.
