All Kiwis should experience Stewart Island at least once in their lifetime so to all international and nation wide travellers - go see for yourself! Visit Ulva Island, and if you really like walking, the North West circuit is one of my favourite tramps, if a little muddy... I'd recommend combining some of the days (we did, and it worked well), and either flying out of Mason Bay (the track from there to Freshwater Landing Hut is sooo boring), or … Morwenna H.
