Staten Island Travel Tips

Take the ferry here from Manhattan for a spectacular (and free!) view of the Statue of Liberty and the Manhattan skyline. The beaches on the north east shore are nice. RuthAnn H.
If you like New York style pizza, go eat at Denino's Pizzeria. The pizza, calamari, and wings are great! Whitney B.
Well worth a visit if you are in new York and have time. The Staten Island ferry is worth the trip in its own right for the free views of the statue of liberty. If you have time to spend on the island, catch a bus to visit Alice Austin House - it's a world away from the bustle of Manhatten. Andy G.
