Spis is in a historic region in north-east Slovakia near the Polish border. A small portion of it is on the Polish side. Levoca Poprad Kezmarok Stara Lubovna Spisske Podhradie with its nearby: Spissky Hrad, Spisska Kapitula and the Gothic Church at Zehra - all of which are Unesco cultural heritage.
