Seattle Hotels

Seattle, Washington, is the largest city in the Pacific Northwest. Located between Puget Sound and Lake Washington in King County, of which it is the county seat, and overlooking Elliott Bay, Seattle is nicknamed The Emerald City. Look for accommodation in Seattle, or try finding hotels in Bellevue, 7 miles to the west.

Capitol Hill-Central District

Capitol Hill is a neighborhood in Seattle, directly east of the downtown retail core.

Downtown

Packed between Elliott Bay, Pioneer Square, Queen Anne, and Capitol Hill, Downtown Seattle unsurprisingly contains the city's business district and a number of large retailers.

University District

The University District, or "U-District", surrounds the University of Washington in northeast Seattle.

Pioneer Square-International District

Pioneer Square is Seattle's oldest neighborhood, showcasing a wealth of art galleries, bookstores, antique shops, cool restaurants, and buzzing nightclubs within easy walking distance of most downtown Seattle hotels.

Ballard

Ballard is a neighborhood in northwest Seattle. While mostly residential, the locks are a major tourist attraction.

Fremont

Seattle's Fremont district, which bills itself as "The Center of the Universe", is known for its quirky atmosphere.

West

West Seattle is the most populous district of Seattle. Separated from the remainder of the city by the Duwamish River, much of it has a decidedly suburban character, and certainly sees far less tourist traffic than the downtown area.

Sodo-Georgetown

Sodo originally "South of the Dome", referring to the now-demolished Kingdome; to keep some sense in the name, it is sometimes explained now as "South of Downtown".

North

North Seattle is a loosely-defined area, often including anywhere north of the Ship Canal that bisects the city.

South

South Seattle occupies a broad swath of the city between I-5 to the west and Lake Washington to the east.

Starbucks Coffee, Seattle's needle + the park near the place.You shouldnt rent cars there cause parking is expansive/problemative. Visit Seattle's aquarium, take the ferry to nearby islands like Bainbridge. Eli G.
