Sanur is a little way out from the major tourist areas but still full of beach stalls and people who will follow you miles just to sell you a t-shirt or a knock off watch. The beach resorts here are very good value.

Lovely white sand, friendly locals that do not crowd you like on other side of island. hire a local to take you a short canoe ride to interesting turtle island to see the temples.

Sanur is famous because many people (especially the local Balinese) go to this beach to watch the sunrise. It's so beautiful, don't forget to bring your camera with you.
