Santa Cruz is a small coastal city in Santa Cruz County, at the north end of Monterey Bay in California, about forty miles south of San Jose and 75 miles south of San Francisco. Look for accommodation in Santa Cruz, or try finding hotels in Capitola, 4 miles to the east.

I love this place. Very chilled! Great friendly people. Good beach - surfing place. Go for breakfast on a Sunday - may have to wait on the street but cool because you get chatting to loads of people whilst you are waiting. One of the only places where the YHA hostel is a good one.
