San Juan Hotels

San Juan la Laguna is a town on Lake Atitlán. It doesn't have nearly as many tourists as other towns around the lake, and so it is a much quieter, more relaxed place to stay. Look for accommodation in Solola, 13 km to the northwest, or try finding hotels in San Juan la Laguna, or Santa Cruz La Laguna, 9 km to the northwest.

Spend a few hours in Santiago Atitlan to visit the church and market, and don't forget to see San Simon! Claire B.

Hotel Bambu is a very reasonably priced hotel that sits right on Lake Atitlan and it also includes a restaurant. You can take a short-cut and walk along the lake's edge right to Santiago.
