San Francisco: The Avenues Tourist Information

The Avenues is a popular nickname for western San Francisco, made up of Golden Gate Park and the neighborhoods of Richmond and the Sunset. It is bounded by the Pacific Ocean on the west, Lake Street on the north, Arguello Blvd and Stanyan Street and 7th Avenue and 19th Avenue on the east, and Sloat Blvd on the south.
