Saipan is a beautiful island that has a lot to offer. We stayed at the Halfadai hotel and it was not bad. You can book nice day trips but they are usually in Japanese. Bird island and the Last Command Post were highlights for me. Tara H.
This was a major battle in the "Island Hopping Campaign" during WW2.It is a neat battle field to see,but is not easy to get there.I was in The Marines at the time and went there for a memorial service. Patrick T.
