You might be disappointed when you go to Saint-Louis, 'cause the town isn't very cosy, doesn't have many pretty buildings, is surrounded by dirty water... For us it was kind of a disappointment. Joke M.
Taxi's are very expensive around Saint-Louis. The price goes up when they have to go over a bridge, so ask them to stop before they enter the bridge to drive into town and pass the bridge on foot. Also: it's not true that the prices go up in the evening, at least not for locals, for tourists they … Joke M.
If you've never been to Africa, start with Senegal! People there are friendly, sincere, funny. Food is succulent and the landscape is just awsome!
