Saint-Louis is a city on the Grande Cote in Northern Senegal. The city of Saint-Louis is located about 260km north of Dakar on the coast and spreads across the mainland, Île de N’Dar, and the Langue de Barbarie Peninsula. Park National de la Langue de Barbarie is in the St. Louis of Senegal. The Parc National de la Langue de Barbarie is an ecosystem rich and varied.

You might be disappointed when you go to Saint-Louis, 'cause the town isn't very cosy, doesn't have many pretty buildings, is surrounded by dirty water... For us it was kind of a disappointment. Joke M.

Taxi's are very expensive around Saint-Louis. The price goes up when they have to go over a bridge, so ask them to stop before they enter the bridge to drive into town and pass the bridge on foot. Also: it's not true that the prices go up in the evening, at least not for locals, for tourists they … Joke M.
