Sachsenhausen Hotels
Sachsenhausen is a sleepy suburb of Oranienburg, about one hour north of Berlin, Germany. But during World War II, the village was home to Konzentrationlager Sachsenhausen The construction of KZ-Sachsenhausen started in 1936 and it was officially taken into use in 1938. Sachsenhausen Travel Tips
In Oranienburg, there is a good museum at the Sachsenhausen Concentration Camp. This was where many political prisoners were sent, and this one is not as emotionally overwhelming as Buchenwald, the only other camp I have visited. Margretta D.
