Russell Hotels

Russell is a town in the Bay of Islands, in the Far North of the North Island of New Zealand. Lying just across the bay from Waitangi, and the Treaty Grounds, this is one of the early european settlements in New Zealand.

A nice little town. Take the ferry from Paihia, wander through the quiet streets and into a couple of art or antique stores, and then walk up Flagstaff Hill for a great view and a short history lesson. RuthAnn H.
