Port Douglas is a coastal resort town north of Cairns, near the Daintree National Park. Port Douglas is ideal for a trip to the Great Barrier Reef or to the Daintree Rainforest, with Cape Tribulation a 90 minute drive on well maintained sealed roads.

This is a laid back surfy town with some good restaurants. There is a nice beach and the market on sundays is really good for cheap but chic jewellery finds! Caitlin F.
