Poienari Castle Hotels

Poienari Castle is a Wallachian castle usually associated with Vlad III Dracula. It is located near the village of Capataneni, some 20 minutes north of Curtea de Arges, at the beginning of the spectacular Transfagarasan high altitude highway; the castle is perched precariously on the top of a steep, forested mountain.
