Paldiski Hotels

Paldiski is a town on the shore of Baltic Sea, in Harjumaa county, NW Estonia. During Soviet times and early years of independent Estonia, until up to 1994, the city was a “closed city”, i.e, off-limits to foreigners, non-resident Soviet citizens, even non-resident Estonians themselves, because of its military importance. Look for accommodation in Padise, 15 km to the southwest, or try finding hotels in Laulasmaa, 12 km to the west.

When you get off the train from Tallinn, if you want to see the best spots, turn right out of the train station...
