The flame for each modern Olympic Games is still lit in the town, by a reflection of sunlight in a parabolic mirror, and carried by torch to the place where the games are to be held. Olympia Travel Tips
Olympia is one of my favorite archeological places. Try visiting in the spring when it is full of flowers. For a snack ask for greek yoghurt with nuts and honey. They make the yoghurt quite thick. Miguel R.
