Go to Kortowo which is like a suburb of Olsztyn; it's a student's campus with lot's of sports grounds, a lake etc. so it's a nice place to chill out at Daniel M.
As is often the case the local's at the main bus station smell and want travellers to finanse their tobacco and alcohol addiction, but if you like to observe local culture than this is a good place to be:) Daniel M.
