Oatman Hotels

Oatman is a old mining town on Route 66 in Western Arizona. It's about equal parts touristy kitsch and real, honest-to-goodness Wild West atmosphere. Gold was discovered in the nearby hills in the early 1900's and the town was home to a boom that lasted until the mines closed in the 1930's. Look for accommodation in Bullhead City, 13 miles to the northeast, or try finding hotels in Laughlin, 14 miles to the northeast, Kingman, 22 miles to the northwest, or Needles, 18 miles to the southeast.

Cute little cowboy city, all done up western with every hour a cowboy showdown in the middle of the street. Donkey's roam wild on the streets and you can feed them carrots.
