Nelson Hotels
Nelson is the second oldest settled city in New Zealand and the oldest in the South Island. Nelson is situated in a region often known as Nelson Tasman or the "Top of the South." It is actually slightly north of the capital city of Wellington. Look for accommodation in Richmond, 10 km to the southeast, or try finding hotels in Mapua, 16 km to the east.

We camp at Kaiteriteri every summer which is just under an hour away from Nelson and we love to take day trips there to visit the wineries, look at the many arts and crafts and have lunch at our fav restaurant Lambrettas. Rebecca F.
