Mumbai Hotels

Mumbai a cosmopolitan metropolis, earlier known as Bombay, is the largest city in India and the capital of Maharashtra state. Mumbai was originally a conglomeration of seven islands on the Konkan coastline which over time were joined to form the island city of Bombay. When staying in Mumbai, we recommend Hotel Avon Ruby, Ramee Guestline Dadar Hotel, Orange Inn Hotel, Midtown Pritam Hotel, and Hotel Shantiidoot.

South

South Bombay is a commonly used term, but the extent of this district is not commonly agreed upon.

Western Suburbs

The Western Suburbs consists of the Bandra, Khar, Santa cruz, Juhu, Vile Parle, and Andheri suburbs of Bombay.

South Central

This district covers Byculla, Parel, Worli, Prabhadevi, and Dadar areas of Bombay.

North Central

Comprising the neighborhoods of Dharavi, Matunga, Vadala, Sion, and Mahim, the northern boundary of this district is where the city ends and the suburbs start.

Northwest

This district comprising the suburbs of Jogeshwari, Goregaon, Malad, Kandivali, Borivali, and Dahisar lie on the Western line and are usually included in the Western Suburbs.

Central Suburbs

This district, comprising the suburbs of Kurla, Vidyavihar, Ghatkopar, Vikhroli, Kanjur Marg, Bhandup, Mulund, and Powai has developed quite a bit in the past few decades.

Harbour suburbs

This district, comprising of the suburbs of Chembur, Mankhurd, Govandi, and Trombay were considered the poorer cousins of the Western and Central Suburbs for various reasons.
