Mount Kōya is a mountain in Wakayama prefecture to the south of Osaka, Japan, primarily known as the headquarters of the Shingon sect of Japanese Buddhism. When staying in Mount Koya, we recommend Saimonin, Koyasan Onsen Fukuchiin, Henjokoin, Ekoin Temple, and Sekishoin.

For me 1 of the best attraction was the Okunoin Cemetery . A more hundred years old cemetery, in a tallll trees forest. About 500,000 stone graves with moss on them. Beautiful. Peaceful. Eszter N.More Mount Koya Tips  GeckoGo
