Moshi Hotels

Moshi is in Northeast Tanzania, the mountain region of Tanzania. Moshi is home to three main cultural groups: the Chagga, the Maasai and Pare. However, most Maasai are employed as watchmen or are selling traditional medicines, and their homeland is further north. When staying in Moshi, we recommend Osy Grand Hotel, Sal Salinero Hotel (3 km northeast), Kilemakyaro Mountain Lodge (4 km north), Honey Badger Lodge (9 km west), and Protea Hotel Aishi Machame (20 km northeast).

While in the markets in Moshi be careful as to not let the shop owners get away with a high price. I have been to a market there and let me tell you it's possible to get such a lower then before but you have to be willing to haggle  Kino R.

If you are travelling to Moshi then you are more than likely going to hike Kilimanjaro or are on a safari of some description. If you are going to be visiting or meeting the local children for whatever reason I wouldadvise that you bring some school copies, pencils etc for them as gifts.
