Monteriggioni Travel Tips

The only completely enclosed hilltop village mentioned in Dante's Inferno- just south of Siena. Has been opened up to touist now,but a few years ago when I first visited the village there was no hotel and just 2 bars used by the locals,now after building a car park just outside city walls,bus loads … James P.
