Montego Bay is the capital of St. Look for accommodation in Negril, 47 km to the southwest, or try finding hotels in Falmouth, 28 km to the east, or Lucea, 28 km to the west.

if ur planning a trip to jamaica, i recommend Negril over Montego Bay. Negril has blue blue water, and white white sand. MoBay has golden sand and sometimes blue water. we stayed in MoBay, but went to Negril for the day, and wish we had booked our resort in Negril instead ... way nicer! Chantelle S.

Montego Bay is cheaper than Negril but there's a good reason - it's not as nice and you get hassled way more. If anyone asks you to buy drugs or to braid your hair, just say no thank you - if you give them any sign of hope they will never leave you alone. Kimberly A.
