Mijas is a town and muncipality in the Costa del Sol in southern Spain. It consists of Mijas Pueblo a typically Andalusian white-washed village located at a mountain side 428 m above mean sea level. Easy accesible modest town on the costa almeria in southern Spain. Well-known for it's discotheques, most of which are located at the '24-hours square'. A taxi drive to nearby Torremolinos costs about 7 euros, which is a nice price to pay when you're pretty drunk and need to find your hotel. Didier G.
