Marmara Islands are an archipelago in the Sea of Marmara, located in its mid-west portion, near its exit to Aegean Sea and off Kapıdağ Peninsula on the Asian coast. Marmara Islands constitute of four inhabited islands, namely Marmara Island, Avşa, Paşalimani, and Ekinlik, and a few more uninhabited islands, islets and rocks.
