From the upper part of the town it is possible to take a chairlift to the top of the Mount Baldo, the view from up there is just beautiful. You can also take a ferry to one of the many other places which surround the lake - I suggest Riva del Garda, it's a really beautiful place :)

Osteria Santo Cielo was my favourite place to eat in Malcesine - Good Quality food, served without fuss. I enjoyed a tasty fresh salad - a nice change from the pizzas/ pasta etc that I'd been eating most days during my trip www.osteriasantocielo.com
