the most modern place in manila. it's got fancy restaurants and shopping malls. but be careful. always follow your common sense!!

Makati is in the heart of Manilla and although it is a buseling part of the city mostly foreigners live there. Shopping for nice major store items can be found here but for a true taste of island crafts and clothing go to one of the other sections of Manila.
