Maiko National Park Tourist Information

Maiko National Park is in Congo Basin region of Democratic Republic of Congo. This massive 10,400 sq km park is about half way between Bukavu at the Rwandan border, and Kisangani. The has not been developed for visitors and has been adversely affected by civil strife that began in the late 1990s.
