Kuranda Travel Tips

Go to Kuranda from Cairns. Rent a car and drive. The shops are all cool with hippies running them. You can make bargains when you go there. But it would be hard to make a whole day out of being there. I had the best breakfast there at a small cafe in the mall... don't remember the name but it was … Jack C.
There may still be a place in Kuranda called Cassowary House... a place for birders run by a couple of old Kenya hands, John and Rita Squires... fabulous and a must if you are into birds. Bob D.
Pretty town in the rainforest. Check out the Aborigine Center and buy some local art. Kimberly A.
