Kumai Tourist Information

Kumai is a city in Kalimantan, Indonesia. Pelni ships travel from Surabaya to Kumai approximately once every two weeks. It is also possible to fly to Pangkalanbun and take a taxi or ojek to Kumai. Kumai is the jumping-off point for Tanjung Puting National Park, famous for it's orangutans.
