Kratie Hotels

Kratie is a tiny town in northeastern Cambodia. Despite its small size, it is the capital of the province of the same name. Kratie is one of the four provinces in northeastern Cambodia, and although it is relatively remote and not heavily touristed, travelling here won't earn you points if your priority is to be a pioneer. When staying in Kratie, we recommend Le Bungalow, Ly Cheu Hotel (2 km north), Oudom Sambath Hotel, and Sala Koh Trong (6 km northwest).

In the dry season you have to get there by road, not boat, which you can the rest of the year. Emma D.

If you want to go to see the dolphins on your own, just go to your hotel reception and ask for motos, they are very cheap (5 USD/day) and you can easily go around and find the good spot to dive in the Mekong... Francois T.

I had a stop in this little town because of I was interested in the dolpins. The dolphins can usually be seen right from the river bank, but it’s worthwhile to take a spotting cruise in one of the wooden long-tail boats available for hire.
