If you travel by Shinkansen nearby Kobe don't forget to look out of the window: you can catch the world's longest suspension bridge: Akashi Kaikyo Bridge. Eszter N.
If you want to see Yakuza working on their tans, head on down to Suma Beach (at Suma station on the JR line). Bring a camera along so you can photograph girls walking on the sand in high heels with full makeup. Parris B.
Eat at Gautam restaurant. Go due south from JR Settsumotoyama to the the big 4-lane road. Take a left and walk until you see Gautam on your left, maybe 5-10 minutes. IT IS THE BEST INDIAN FOOD I HAVE EVER HAD OR THAT EXISTS ON THIS EARTH. Its not cheap though - 1000-2000 yen Derek G.
