If you want to see Yakuza working on their tans, head on down to Suma Beach (at Suma station on the JR line). Bring a camera along so you can photograph girls walking on the sand in high heels with full makeup.

Eat at Gautam restaurant. Go due south from JR Settsumotoyama to the the big 4-lane road. Take a left and walk until you see Gautam on your left, maybe 5-10 minutes. IT IS THE BEST INDIAN FOOD I HAVE EVER HAD OR THAT EXISTS ON THIS EARTH. Its not cheap though - 1000-2000 yen

Was there an earthquake here You'd ever know (unless you were awakened by your wife during a tremor like I was, in the middle of the night). Sheraton Kobe is the best! Our view overlooked the bay area and a mountain. Beautiful! The Japanese were very curious about our African-American toddler …
