Has one of the worlds most modern underground tubes, have a look at it, you wouldnt expect it. Also try the various local dishes, some of them are ok some are really amazing. Florian M.

Absolutely magnificat city! Very rich and modern (is a capital of Tatarstan - republic rich in oil), has not only great metro, but also interesting museums and really great Kremlin. Look the local University of Kazan' - young Lenin studied there:))) Adam K.

I stayed in Kazan' in the Fatima hotel (Ulitsa Karla Marxa 2), and would surely recommend it. It's located two steps away from the city's Kremlin, rooms are cosy and the shared bathrooms very tidy. A double room was 1000 rubles a night. Julie R.More Kazan Tips  GeckoGo
