Kansk is an old city in the east of the Krasnoyarsk Region. Kansk is on the Trans-Siberian Railway. Kansk International Video Film Festival of Avantguard Cinema is an anual venue that happens in the end of August-beginning of September and gathers people involved in experimental and contemporary video art.
