Kampala Hotels

Kampala is the capital city of Uganda. It is in the South Central part of the country close to the shores of Lake Victoria. The people of Kampala, and Ugandans in general, are very kind and friendly and are very approachable. When staying in Kampala, we recommend Royal Suites, Afrique Suites Hotel (2 km north), Dolphin Suites Kampala (2 km northwest), Silver Springs Hotel (2 km north), and City Royal Resort Hotel (3 km northwest).

Take a boda boda (moped taxi) elsewhere in Uganda. Riding one in Kampala is literally taking your life into your hands! Also, avoid rush hour in Kampala if you're traveling out of the city. I spent two hours traveling about 20 km... packed into a bus taxi.... The traffic gets horrendous. Rob B.
