hmmm.... Kailua.... very limited knowledge. However, my good friend/old roomate Andy lives there which I had visited. Kailua is 'the valley' of Honolulu. Very Filipino in the Ilocano ghetto sense.... Eddie V.
Head to the Kalapawai Market for great sandwiches then straight into Lanikai for a day at Lanikai Beach. Grab dinner at Buzz's Steakhouse at the end of the day but be aware, its CASH ONLY here. Collette C.
Bad Ass Coffee Co in Kailua-Kona has the best view when you sit and have a latte! Abby D.
