Jericoacoara is a small fishing village cum beach hippie mecca in Ceará, Brazil, some 300 km west of Fortaleza. Jeri, as it is affectionately known, is the kind of idyllic place where many travelers end up deciding to stay for longer than they had originally planned.

Jericoacoara beach is definitely something that has to be experienced if you´re travelling in Brazil. An amazing old hippie beach, great people and nearby lagoons. If you go, make sure that you have enough time just to relax and enjoy the sun sets. Aija S.
