Hyderabad Hotels

Hyderabad is the capital of Andhra Pradesh in Southern India, located on the banks of the Musi River and on the Deccan Plateau. Hyderabad and Secunderabad are "twin cities" near Hussain Sagar Lake but both cities have grown so much that now they have become one big metropolis. Look for accommodation in Hyderabad, 13 km to the north, or try finding hotels in Secunderabad, 7 km to the north.

Hyderbad has a nickname called 'cyberabad' because it is India's computer and information centre. A must see here is the 'Ramoji film set', a 2000 acre site full of wild sets. Miko S.

Hyderabad, apart from its famous palaces, Mosque and biriyani, is also known for pearls. The old city has an area where the streets are lined with pearl jewellers (like the Dubai gold souk.) Needless to say the designs and prices are NICE. Serena D.
