Horezu is a town in the northern part of Oltenia, close to the Carpathian mountains. Horezu is best known for the traditional pottery manufactured in the area and for its 17th century monastery. There are hourly buses from Ramnicu Valcea and less frequent ones from Targu Jiu. About Horezu
