Hoboken Hotels

Hoboken is a small city on the Hudson River in northeastern New Jersey. Once known only as the birthplace of baseball and crooner Frank Sinatra and the site of Stevens Institute of Technology, Hoboken has become a party town, rich in bars and clubs, and a bedroom community for young, mostly twenty-something professionals who work across the river in New York City. Look for accommodation in Weehawken, or try finding hotels in New York, Hoboken, Jersey City, or Secaucus, 3 miles to the northeast.

Hoboken Travel Tips

Its almost the 6th borough of NYC, but on the Jersey side. Jersey City being the 7th. Use the PATH Train and Hudsen/Bergen Light Rail to get around. Must visit, but has seedy areas. Be MORE alert than you would be in Manhattan, on par with Brooklyn. Jeremy P.
Honestly, when I lived in NYC, hoboken was a place to avoid. We considered it BT. However, if visiting NY, it is a cheaper place to stay, and you can get into the city quickly. David F.
