Hamilton Island Hotels
Hamilton Island is one of the Whitsunday Islands of Queensland, Australia. It is part of the Great Barrier Reef. The island has been developed as a popular holiday resort, and made waves in 2008 when it advertised the caretaker's position as the Best Job in the World — $150,000 for six months of living on the island and blogging about it once a week. Look for accommodation in Airlie Beach, 26 km to the northwest, or try finding hotels in Shute Harbour, 18 km to the north.

PARADISE. Snorkeling, beautiful beaches, it also has it's own zoo and we got to hold koalas, although that might be illegal now. We had cockatoos and lorikeets coming to our balconies and perching on our arms. It was amazingly beautiful. Diana L.
